Slide show — This web site implements the slide show mode for most, but not all, pages, and the slide show mode is a pretty good way, I think, of viewing such pages. As long as you can read a page and that page has the SS link (look at the navigation bar — just above the golden bar on the left side), then you can run a slide show on it.

How do you activate the slide show mode? Press s on your keyboard, now! Or, you can click the navigation link that says SS.

Slide show

Now, if you successfully activated the slide show, then you will see that this is the first slide! Is this the case? Then, congratulations. Press the space-bar key on your keyboard, that long bar at the bottom of the keyboard, to go to the next page.

Navigation in the slide show mode

To go forward, press space-bar. To go backward, press Shift-space-bar. To get out of the slide show mode, press q.

Also, you can move your mouse to the top part of the page, and you should see some grey letters appearing. They form a navigation menu. You can use them, instead of keyboard short-cuts, if you like.

This is the very basic of how to use the slide show mode. Please practice the three keys above and the mouse activated navigation to move around, move out of, and move into, the slide show mode.

That is it, almost!

Believe it or not, that much is pretty sufficient for you to use the slide show mode.

If you like to know more keyboard shortcuts, press space-bar now.
