Homework 3, due May 8: Kinetic theory and semi-classical statistical mechanics
- Addition: page 2 (red), 1(f), clarification of the Debye frequency.
Homework 2, due Apr 24: Probability (with solutions)
- I recommend your reading my solutions, even if you did very well. In particular, solutions to problems 7 and 3 are physics-rich. Solution to problem 2 is worth reading, too, I think. I am happy to see that everybody is very good with the evaporative deposition (problem 6) and the cumulant expansion (problem 4)!
