Homework #1

A bug found!!

Thanks to E, I uploaded the updated homework solutions, with a correction. I also expanded the explanation for part (b) of the last problem. You can download it here.

Note

For problem 4, (1) you need to do "Intro and Admin: Activities: Survey" first. (2) Then, do the "Introduction to Quantum Mechanics Activity (v3)." (3) You do not need to do the "quantum tunneling activity (v2)" now.

Here is a photo-copy of the homework problems from the book and relevant pages in the text, for those people who might not have the access to the book yet.

Here is what you need to do for the last problem (part (a) and other subsequent parts). I think symbols may be more explicitly explained here.
